Baby M's Shower

What a wonderful weekend! Meg and the kiddos came in Thursday and it started with Summer's Fifth Night in Utica Square. Hank and I were a couple of happy campers, since it's usually 100 degrees and I'm sweating profusely at this thing. I'm sure I'll get plenty of that here in the next few months, so I was sure to soak it in.

Hank's new BF... just waiting for a crumb to fall.

Will's starting to fight back at his big sisters, and I love it.

The rest of the weekend was a busy, but fun one. We had dinner at my parents Friday, my baby shower was Saturday morning, my friend Erin's baby shower that afternoon, and then Jack's birthday party happy hour which turned into a late night Thunder game watch party. Yesterday was also Megan and Brian's 11th Anniversary, and for the second year in a row John and I crashed their dinner plans. I'm still not sure why it was a good idea to go to dinner at 10, my bedtime, with M and B and some friends, but we thought it was a brilliant idea at the time. Lots of fun, but this pregnant girls feet are looking a little inflated. Does four servings of cake in one day do that to you? I also had another baby shower this afternoon, but decided to forego the cake thinking I'd had enough. Oh no, instead I just ate some of my awesome leftovers from Baby Mabry's cake when I got home. =/ All that rambling being said, besides my wedding day, I've never felt more loved than I did Saturday morning. I thought it was going to be rough since I was already crying while getting ready, but I held it together pretty well. I was so humbled by friends and family that completely went out of their way to celebrate Baby M and make me feel so special. Baby Mabry is already feeling so loved by all the sweet gifts, thoughts, and effort everyone made, it was a perfect shower. I can't wait for baby M to meet all these wonderful people in our lives.

Cutest diaper cake my friend Annie made
Guests signed my favorite childhood book for Baby Mabry. I'm not sure why,  I loved this book so much, but I can't wait to read it to baby M.  Addison also painted this little pic of the Mabry family. I love that the baby is on John's "back".

Fruit table. How cute is that elephant?
Delicious cake and cupcakes made by Melissa's sister in law.
