36 weeks!

Sorry for the uber serious picture. I sent this to my sis and never got around to taking another bump pic.

Well the car seat's installed and my bag is officially packed for the hospital!! We got a little nervous last night. I started having contractions for about 5 to 10 minutes at a time and they were about 1-2 minutes apart. They continued for a few hours and I finally went to bed thinking I'd wake up if they got more intense. I woke up about 3 times having contractions, but somehow was able to fall back asleep. I even popped open my birthing book and tried to determine if this was false labor or the real deal. I still have no idea how I'm going to know the difference!! We don't have a baby here today, so I assume it was false. The only reason I held off calling the doctor or going to the hospital (even though I should have according to our class and the book) was because I just went to the doctor on Friday. The good news is Baby M has flipped and her/his head is down! I wasn't dilated, but I was surprised I was already 60% effaced. I'd been having cramps/contractions the past week and a half and Dr. R assured me this was a good thing and my body was just preparing for the real deal. I'm just glad I'll be going weekly now, so I'll know any progress Baby's making in there by Thursday. I'm also glad this is how we spent the majority of our Saturday...

Helper Hank

The swing is up and running.

You wouldn't believe how difficult a pack in play's instructions could be.

Hank's such a good little helper.

3 hours later, we have it down!

Mobile is hung.

Shoe rack is up. =)

By the way, when we were driving home last night and timing my contractions, John asked, "We've decided on names right?" I'm glad we're finally taking this having a baby thing seriously...this could really happen soon!!

Oh Britni! Everything is coming together quite nicely! I'm sure you feel great knowing so much stuff is done! Impressed you packed your bag - glad you did though, because it sounds like baby M could join us a little early?!?!
