1 Month!

I can't believe Max is already a month old (yesterday)! It's amazing how fast time goes by when you're not pregnant, even with minimal sleep. We're starting to get used to this parenting routine and are enjoying our time with our little man. Here are some pictures from our day late photo shoot...

His stats from his 2 week appointment were:

Length- 21 3/4 inches long (87%). He grew a quarter of an inch from birth.
Weight- 8 lbs 1.5 oz. (34%) He gained a pound in a week and 11.5 oz from birth.
Head circumference- 14.4 inches (42%).

I took him to the doctor this past week concerned about how much he eats (new mom alert). He weighed 10.1 oz (62 percentile), gaining 2 pounds in 2 weeks! Obviously this guy doesn't turn down a meal. He ate 9 ounces (no spit up) in one feeding. Apparently, at 9 months babies don't eat this much. Our pediatrician was quite impressed with Max, and told us not to be concerned; he's doing awesome.

Right now Max loves to eat, his sound machine and Coldplay Lullaby CD, the nap nanny, papison, our walks, play dates with friends, being held, and he's actually starting to enjoy tummy time. He rolled over from his stomach to his back at 27 days (not sure if that's normal). All in all he's doing great and just living the dream!
