Cute Little Day.

This weekend we went to Norman to celebrate our niece, Mabry's, 7th birthday party...

Mabry before her birthday party.

Mabry (last summer/fall) with sisters Harper and Hazel, and Boomer or Sooner. Such a weird mascot, by the way. They remind me of a character from Fraggle Rock with those manes bouncing around all over the field.
Her party theme was super cute, Mabry's 7 Favorite Things. She had 7 different stations set up with her favorite activities. My favorite was "taking her school to lunch" where the kiddos could make their own snack mix. There was also a bouncy house, stage to sing and dance, and a basketball goal, since she enjoys cheering on the Thunder. Lots of fun going on. We had a great time hanging out with family, and eating good food. It was so nice to be in Norman and not to have to rush to a football game, or stand in the same spot for 4 hours. =) If I had to live anywhere else in Oklahoma it would be there. John would love to retire in Norman, and I use to tell him with who? Of course this is how I felt right after college, but now I really do love the town. Baby Mabry must have been excited about his or her first trip, because he/she was kicking so much this weekend, at least 20 times within 10 minutes at one point. John actually got to feel the baby kick for the first time, and we saw my stomach moving around, which was crazy. This could have also been since we've been doing stuff nonstop until late every night, and I was finally sitting still to notice. We had a productive week to say the least. We're now officially going to lease our home when we move, we got a new mattress, bed, carpet's professionally cleaned, busted pipe under the house fixed (thanks to John and his awesome head light), fixed the door from the carpet cleaner mishaps, bug free home, almost decided on a photographer for our newborn pics, our nursery bedding arrived, =) and we're almost packed for vaca. Can not wait, baby wants to relax.
